On November 11, 2022, PACIM and representatives of various countries and communities, as well as the UofM ROTS Color Guard, participated in the Armistice Day Commemoration organized by Partners in Peace in Brit’s Pub in Minneapolis.
November 11 is also National Independence Day in Poland, commemorating the anniversary of the restoration of Poland’s sovereignty as the Polish Republic in 1918 from the German, Austro-Hungarian, and Russian Empires.
During the event, PACIM President Edyta Dudek gave a short presentation linking the history of Polish struggles for independence to the war in Ukraine and assistance provided by the Polish society and government to Ukrainian refugees.
