Firefighter Rafał Jędrocha from Łomianki, Poland – the sister city of Columbia Heights, MN – visited the city with his girlfriend Karolina during the last weekend of September. Volunteers from PACIM helped host the visitors, taking them on a sightseeing tour of the Twin Cities, introducing them to the Polish Saturday School, and sharing a pizza dinner.
They expressed sincere gratitude for the warmth and hospitality they experienced in Minnesota. They said it felt like visiting close family and were deeply impressed by both the kindness they encountered and by everything they saw.
