]]> On November 11, 2024, PACIM members participated in a flower-laying ceremony to honor Polish National Independence Day. The event took place at the newly unveiled 1944 Warsaw Uprising USAAF Airlift Memorial in Huset Park, Columbia Heights, MN—a memorial created through the efforts of PACIM and inaugurated in September this year. Consul Agata Grochowska from the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Chicago laid a bouquet of flowers on behalf of the Polish Government. Columbia Heights Mayor Amáda Márquez Simula was also in attendance, joining in the tribute to this important historical occasion
