SUMMARY:Andrzej Wajda Centenial Tour at The Trylon Cinema
DESCRIPTION:Andrzej Wajda is one of the greatest European directors of the twentieth century\, and his films have been almost entirely unavailable in the United States. He was a major force in reigniting the floundering Polish cinema landscape amid the rubble of World War II. The films in this series are personal\, political\, epic\, and intimate all at once. Screenings of Andrzej Wajda’s films in the USA in 2026 are part of the ‘Wajda 100 Tour – North America’ project\, organized by DI Factory with the financial support of the Polish Film Institute. \nScreenings: \nKanał — November 8\, 5:00\, 7:00\, November 9\, 7:00\, 9:00\, November 10\, 9:00\, 7:00 \nAshes and Diamonds (Popiół i diament) —  November 15\, 6:00\, 8:00\, November 16\, 7:00\, 9:00\, November 17\, 7:00\, 9:00 \nMan of Marble (Człowiek z marmuru) — November 22\, 6:00\, November 23\, 7:00\, November 24\, 7:00 \nThe Promised Land (Ziemia obiecana) –November 25\, 7:00 (Trylon Club Members only!) \nLandscape After the Battle (Krajobraz po bitwie) — November 29\, 5:00\, 7:15\, November 30\, 7:00\, 9:15\, December 1\, 7:00\, 9:15 \nFor more information and to purchase tickets\, visit https://www.trylon.org/film-series/andrzej-wajda-centennial-tour/
